Whilst a 4WD is a bonus for driving on the many dirt roads around Icena (and possibly heading off-road!), all of the key roads around Icena are fine for driving with 2WD vehicles.

Icena is a short 10 minute drive from the regional town of Gladstone which contains a general store, petrol station and pub.
